GreenYellow, a leading investor and operator in solar projects and energy efficiency, proudly announces the groundbreaking ceremony of a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Nestlé (Thai) Ltd to install 3.2 MWp solar panels at Nestlé Waters manufacturing site in Ayutthaya province, making it the biggest solar project among all manufacturing sites of Nestlé Thailand. This partnership signifies a major step forward in Nestle's sustainability journey, with GreenYellow integrating renewable energy into their production process.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of this innovative flagship project. Situated in Ayutthaya, the solar installation will feature both ground-mounted panels and car park structures, showcasing the versatility and efficiency of modern solar technology.
With an installed capacity of 3.2 MWp, the project is expected to generate 4.5 GWh of clean energy per year, significantly reducing CO2 emissions by over 2,000 tonnes annually, for the coming 20 years. This initiative is a testament to the shared commitment of GreenYellow and Nestle to advancing renewable energy adoption to reduce carbon emissions, paving the way to achieve Net Zero 2050 ambition.
