No. All the risks are borne by GreenYellow as an investor and operator who guarantees the performance of the solar power plant. In case of sub performance, you will be compensated by a credit note equivalent to your missed savings.
You can exit the buy-out solar power plant from its 8th year of operation. From years 1 to 7, the buy-out option is not possible.
The complete solar cell system, including solar panels, installation structure, cables, and accessories, will have an approximate total weight of 20 kg/m². We will collaborate with a civil engineering company to conduct a structural analysis to determine the roof's capacity to support the solar cell system. Should any roof reinforcement be required, it will be considered an investment by GreenYellow.
The minimum unobstructed roof space, free from cooling towers, skylights, and similar obstructions, required to install a solar rooftop system is approximately 4,000-5,000 square meters. Our team can also explore alternative solutions, such as constructing a solar carport, to utilize additional areas effectively.
Installing our solar cell system will not affect your building’s roof at all. We use non-penetrating solution to install the rooftop solar system.
GreenYellow does not change your electricity connection to the grid. The facility remains connected to the grid while you are using the electricity generated from solar and the grid.
This is an additional piece of equipment that is installed at the solar module level, and which is a remotely controlled electrical switch, similar to what is used to turn on and off lights.
Upon remote activation, Rapid Shutdown devices will reduce the voltage at the PV panels area. This is an additional safety feature, in line with USA fire department requirements.
